More exploration with the new/old typewriter from a few days ago. Really like the way I can combine a 1960's machine, utilitarian typography and geometric compositions with high quality paper and print – to make striking monochromatic images. The variation in tonality of each particular letter, when used as a repeat pattern gives a wonderful effect. Reckon there's loads more to try with it, so for the modest sum of £35, the little Silver Reed Silverette II has been an amazing purchase. Economical, elegant and remarkably expressive!
